J. Randall Tarasuk

Jon Randall Tarasuk currently holds the Vice-President Position at Pavarini Design, Inc. based in NYC and Paradise Valley, AZ.  His strong private-school education at Chase Collegiate School, The Taft School, Boston College, and The New York School of Interior Design has lead him toward his dedicated career path in Design.   Having mounted over 16 major exhibitions including the prestigious Kips Bay Decorator Showhouse 4 times and both Residential and Commercial projects nationally, his background and experience make him a highly consummate professional on many levels.  Since Randall joined the firm in 1998, Pavarini Design has won 10+ design awards for excellence given by ASID, IIDA, IFDA, & International Property & Travel.  On a daily basis, Randall manages construction projects, coordinates project development, and interacts with all project tradesmen. He plays an avid role in materials and finishes specification as well as procurement of furnishings and artwork traveling both nationally and internationally to source and share great product for a discerning clientele base. He has been a leader in the design of the company image and web presence while he maintains the roles of company author and controller.  On a regular basis, Randall writes, reviews, and revises all company correspondence letters and journal entries.  Furthering his eye for design, he is a member of the Designers Lighting Forum of New York (DLF-NY) and the International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA) which feeds his passion for creativity within the field.

At a more personal level, Randall has other attributes which contribute to his demeanor.  He is a confident and effective public speaker and enjoys contributing to panel discussions and seminars.  For the past twenty-five years he has maintained an interest in photography and has always had an understanding of seeing design ‘through the lens.’  This hobby has taken him from New Zealand to Africa on photographic safaris, learning and appreciating other cultures and lifestyles. 
To conclude, Randall is obsessed with the culinary arts and has a great passion for entertaining. He has a wealth of experience and an almost peripatetic lifestyle which all contribute to his enchanting career as a passionate Interior Designer.
